I am a filmmaker exploring the intersection of cinema, artificial intelligence, and human creativity.
My relationship with filmmaking began more than two decades ago, creating independent, low-budget productions driven by a conviction that remains at the heart of my work today: ideas, emotion, and storytelling should always come before technology.
After years of working with traditional filmmaking and audiovisual creation, generative artificial intelligence has opened a new chapter in that journey. It has given me new creative and production tools to bring to the screen stories, worlds, and images that once could exist only in my imagination.
My work is particularly focused on visual storytelling, atmosphere, and emotion. Through my films, I explore themes such as human behavior, loneliness, identity, social disconnection, memory, love, loss, transformation, and the contradictions of contemporary society.
Projects such as “… in spring”, one of my most personal and intimate films, reflect this approach by combining visual storytelling, dance, music, symbolism, and emotion to explore human relationships and the process of accepting change and loss.
I am interested in AI not as the source of creativity, but as a tool that can expand the possibilities of filmmaking while remaining in service of a distinctly human vision.
My short films have been selected, nominated, and awarded at international film festivals and AI film festivals, receiving Best AI Film awards, official selections, nominations, and finalist recognition in international competitions.
Beyond my work as a filmmaker, I am actively involved in the emerging AI filmmaking community as a Film Festival Jury Member, Dreamina Creative Partner, Kling AI Elite Creator, Shaike Certified Creator, and Founding Creator at Shoowai.
Alongside my filmmaking practice, I bring more than 20 years of experience in education and teacher training. This dual perspective allows me not only to create with emerging technologies, but also to research, teach, and critically reflect on how they are transforming creativity, audiovisual language, and the filmmaking process itself.
For me, AI filmmaking is not about pressing a button and generating content.
It is about imagining and writing.
Directing and making choices.
Experimenting and discovering.
Editing, sound, rhythm, and silence.
Failing, iterating, and starting again.
And, above all, having something to say.
